At ad+ accountants, we believe that supporting our community extends beyond the work we do for our clients. Each year, we make donations to a range of charities and organisations whose work has a meaningful impact both locally and further afield.
We are passionate about supporting causes that matter to our team, our clients, and the communities around us. From local initiatives helping families and individuals in need, to national and international organisations driving wider change, we are proud to contribute to charities whose values align with our own.
Our 2025 Donations
Throughout 2025, we were delighted to support a variety of charities making a difference in the lives of others.
Glasgow Children’s Hospital Charity

Glasgow Children’s Hospital Charity was one of the causes we chose to support in 2025. Our donation contributed towards the charity’s work supporting children and young people receiving treatment at the Royal Hospital for Children and other facilities across the West of Scotland, helping to fund medical equipment, research and family services.
Social Bite

Another charity we chose to support was Social Bite, which supports people affected by homelessness across Scotland. Our donation contributed towards the charity’s work, including food provision, housing support and employment programmes that help people build more secure futures.
Homeless Project Scotland

Among the organisations we chose to support was Homeless Project Scotland, a charity providing practical support directly within communities to those affected by homelessness. We were pleased to make a donation towards its work, which includes soup kitchens and dedicated street teams delivering food, essential items and frontline support to people in need.
Save the Children – Christmas Jumper Day

By participating in Christmas Jumper Day, we were able to support Save the Children through a donation towards their important work helping children across the UK and around the world. The charity provides access to essential support and services, while also working to reunite families and campaign for change to help improve the lives of children facing difficult circumstances.
Glasgow’s Spirit of Christmas

We were delighted to support Glasgow’s Spirit of Christmas, a local charity helping ensure children living in poverty still receive a visit from Santa Claus. Our donation supported their ongoing efforts to work alongside hundreds of charities across Scotland, providing and distributing toys to families who need them most.
Cancer Research UK – Race for Life

Our team member, Elise, participated in Race for Life in support of Cancer Research UK. This charity funds the work of scientists, doctors and nurses with the aim of beating cancer. They also raise awareness of early signs and symptoms and provide support for those affected by the disease.
MND Scotland – 5K Your Way Fun Run

A family member of one of our team members took part in the “5K Your Way” fun run in support of MND Scotland, a cause we were proud to support. Our donation helped contribute towards the charity’s work investing in research and providing vital support for people living with MND, including voice preservation funding, access to benefits, housing support and raising awareness of the condition.
Our 2026 Donations
We have continued our commitment to charitable giving throughout 2026 and are proud to have supported the following organisations so far.
Rutherglen & Cambuslang Foodbank

As a business rooted in the local community, we were proud to support an organisation providing essential assistance right on our doorstep. The foodbank supplies food parcels containing non-perishable essentials and offers guidance, support and signposting to longer-term services for those who need it.
Ryan McCabe Foundation

We were proud to support a foundation that holds special significance for one of our team members and their family. The Ryan McCabe Foundation distributes funds raised to charities that were close to Ryan’s heart, including Macmillan Cancer Support, Teenage Cancer Trust, Andy’s Man Club and Eilidh’s Rainbow.
Prince & Princess of Wales Hospice – (A Little Less) Strictly Come Dancing

One of our clients took part in (A Little Less) Strictly Come Dancing in support of The Prince & Princess of Wales Hospice, and we were delighted to donate towards this fantastic cause. Through specialist care and support for families, The Prince & Princess of Wales Hospice helps improve quality of life during life’s most challenging times.
ICU Hairmyres

This cause was especially close to our hearts, and we were pleased to make a donation to ICU Hairmyres to help fund materials needed to create memory boxes. These provide comfort and meaningful keepsakes to families experiencing the loss of a loved one.
Looking Ahead
We are incredibly grateful for the work these charities and organisations carry out every day. Whether supporting children and families, funding medical research, tackling homelessness, providing end-of-life care, or helping those facing hardship, each plays an important role in improving lives both locally and beyond.
As we continue through 2026, ad+ accountants remain committed to supporting worthwhile causes and making a positive contribution wherever we can. We are proud of the charities we have supported so far and look forward to continuing our fundraising and donation efforts in the years ahead.
